Parents and Journey Students,
We are excited to welcome students back to Journey on Wednesday, September 16, from 6:30–8:00 PM in the Commons at Mercer Creek!

As we begin this new year, I am really excited about what is ahead. Journey is more than a weekly youth group. We want to create a space where students can encounter and respond to Jesus and where they can Step In, Step Up, and Step Out.

High school is an important season as students figure out who they are, where they belong, what they believe, and who they want to become. Our hope is that Journey can be a consistent place where students know they belong, have adults who care about them, build meaningful friendships, ask honest questions, and learn what it looks like to follow Jesus in everyday life.

This year, we are excited to grow our community, develop student leaders, launch our new worship team, serve our schools and community, and, of course, have a lot of fun together. Last year, we saw tremendous growth in this ministry. Most importantly, we want to create opportunities for students to take meaningful steps in their faith.

We can't wait to see everyone on September 16!

Thank you for trusting us with your students and for your partnership and support. Please make it a priority to get your high school students connected to Journey. We believe God has some great things ahead for Journey, and we are excited about what is to come!

Parent Opportunities

Parents, thank you for partnering with us! There are many simple ways to be involved at Journey—from helping with snacks and special events to leading or assisting with small groups, or simply showing up on Wednesday nights. You don't have to commit every week; even occasional involvement makes a huge difference.

We only have so many years to invest in our kids, and we want to take every opportunity we can to encourage and challenge them in their faith.
