This Christmas season, Mercer Creek Church is partnering once again with The Salvation Army to support their Red Kettle Donations—an annual outreach that brings hope and help to families in need throughout our valley.

The familiar sound of the red kettle bell reminds us that small acts of kindness can create a big impact. The money raised through this campaign helps provide food, shelter, and essential resources for individuals and families facing difficult circumstances, especially during the holidays.

We’re inviting you to join us by volunteering as a Red Kettle Bell Ringer. It’s a simple but meaningful way to serve—just an hour or two of your time can make a real difference! When our church family shows up in the community with joy and compassion, people notice. They see Christ’s love in action through your smiles, greetings, and generosity.

Over the years, Mercer Creek volunteers have helped raise thousands of dollars for local families, and we’ve seen firsthand how these efforts strengthen our community. We love the people of Ellensburg and beyond, and this partnership is one small way we can show that love in a tangible, lasting way.

If you’d like to volunteer, sign up for a time slot, or learn more, please reach out to Peter at peter.bower@mercercreek.org.

Let’s come together this Christmas to serve, give, and remind our neighbors that they are seen and deeply loved.
