What is MOPS?
MOPS encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women, and leaders in relationship to Jesus.
We believe moms can change the course of history. That’s why we connect moms to a community of women, in their own neighborhoods, who meet together to laugh, cry, and embrace the journey of motherhood. MOPS groups are rallying women to be more honest, to feel more equipped, and to find one's identity by journeying alongside one another.
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, and by preschoolers we mean kiddos from birth through kindergarten. We are moms, and we believe that better moms make a better world.
When you visit MOPS, you can expect that there will be a warm welcome and an interesting speaker or video. You will meet other women who are in (or have been) in your stage of life.
MOPS will look different this year. Beginning in January, we will offer limited childcare by reservation only. Babies 12 months and under are welcome to attend and stay in the meeting with their mom. Our refreshments will be lighter and individually packaged. We'll follow current social distancing and masking guidelines.
Our MOPS group meets in person on the third Thursday of each month from 6:30-8 PM/September - May in the Youth Building (Gym). Our next meeting will be on January 21.
Due to social distancing our space is limited, so it is especially important this year to sign up before you attend a meeting! Sign up for one of these options HERE.
